My Table Problem: Cushion Help II

Could someone explain what just happened to my thread? Seriously just looking for some help so I can get back to playing some pool in my garage.

I told you what to do to get your table fixed and playable, Donny responded to you...have you called him yet?

Update

Took a couple rails in to Donnie at SD Billiards (sdbilliards here on AZB).

Donnie pulled some of the cloth off of a rail. Low and behold, it was the opposite of what I guessed. My poking around had led me to believe that the cushions were K66 put onto K55 rails. Turns out it was just the opposite.

They also were not Artemis as the seller had claimed, though that is an aside to the trouble I was having.

Can't thank Donny enough for taking the time to look at my issue. He's a real pro, and didn't charge me a dime for his opinion.

I guess I have to live with the issue for now. He gave me a very fair estimate for replacing the cushions, but I am just not ready to put more money into the table right now.

He also suggested trying to shim the rails to alleviate the jumping issue.

This is what I am going to do.

Thanks again Donny, you da man.

We had a bit of a chuckle at the personalities clashing in this thread, but he was very complimentary of both parties and their abilities.

PS: No, RKC, the cloth was NOT installed upside down. Back the bus off of the guy that did my installation, he did a fine job. Thanks for piling on to my stress about my table LOL.

No problem...I've heard I'm a cyber bully anyway...LMAO good call going to see Donny:grin:

Well, that all depends...you could send them to Mark....the greatest rail mechanic in the country and pay about $1, 300 to get them fixed RIGHT...as he would call it:rolleyes:....or you could contact Donny aka SDBilliards and get a more down to earth price for fixing the rails and correcting the rest of the table right;)

PS Its actually a real easy fix for someone that knows what they're doing.

AGAIN??? 1 page for ops questions and answers, 2 pages of bickering between 2 guys who I will not name, I dont want to offend anyone.

If this forum was a little more mainstream, you guys would probably be costing yourselves potential customers with all the back and forth insults and belittling. I only speak for myself but it seems pretty unprofessional to me.
