The Tascarellas make superb cues. Many makers can only dream they could build cues like them...

Congrats on your playable heirloom...

Very nice cue. I have a couple of Tascarella's myself. I am sure your cue plays great. Nice classic look.

I think the cue looks great. I love the wood and veneers. I think they play consistent and magnificent! Congratulations!

Great looking cue, classic all the way.

One thing I would do if I were you is to buy a "sunshine cloth." They're usually yellow in color. It's meant for polishing jewelry. I would go over the joint with the sunshine cloth to give it more of a mirror-like finish.

But, to make it clear, the Tasc's are definitely among the best made today.

Their stainless is already highly polished by the Pete's so though it might perceive to do "something" it wouldn't be that noticeable of a difference if any...I have those cloths and have used them...

True, not a huge thing. Unlike the older nickel silver and brass joints where a sunshine cloth can make a big difference, the impact on stainless is a bit less. However, I've usually found I can make a difference on even stainless with the cloth.

FYI, if you check out some of the high end watch construction videos, the last step is often a hand polish with a sunshine-like cloth, even with stainless.

Yes I use them on my watches and jewelry as well. They work well on softer metals like gold...

Beautiful cue as always especially with the simplicity.

Tasc's players cue are a bargain at 2.5k and quick turnaround time. I want rings but rings cost $450 each for the ebony/ivory Bushka style.

I have one in the works and looks very similar to the OP's.

Dom-poppa. You were making statements on another thread about how you could get a cue directly from Pete Tascarella with a phone call, and that the waiting list is a farce - or could be circumvented. Now you say that you have one in the works. You also made statements that they were not much more than a regular (entry level) playing cue. You are insulting the maker's workmanship and questioning his integrity. How do you think those statements will affect his business? Do you think that the people on the waiting list will be pleased? You now come on my thread and stink it up by dropping ridiculous price quotes and inferring that it is quick turn around time to get a cue. We on this forum are not numb enough to miss the inference that the waiting list can be open to some covert, out of turn, cue buy. You are a disgrace. I sincerely doubt that Mr. Tascarella would risk his reputation and integrity with his loyal customers for a $2,500 cut rate payday. Especially for someone like you that has made disparaging remarks about his cues and his business practices. If I were him - I wouldn't sell you a plain merry widow for $10,000. You figured you could get those inferences in by starting with a complimentary comment. Sorry - no dice.

+ 1 to this statement-He did the same thing to me in another thread about my Tasc.
So for the trolling Dom-"Poop-a" my sales price today, only $ 50,000 and no waiting.
Oops seems I must have spelled his name wrong-Oh well, more fitting and who cares

Anyway, Congrats BlackBoreOwner for a classy super player and nice looking Tasc indeed :)

Beautiful cue - points, wood, wrap. I believe Pete Jr. is doing the points (at least he did mine). Is the wood in the butt the same wood as the points? Regards, Hal
