Some thoughts about two great days at the mosconi..
1- If you have never been then put it on your list. Extremely fun
2- event has out grown its current location or either more seating needs to be added.
3- Many bad seats for a pool match. Several platforms have more than one row at the same height. With the table below its hard to see unless you are in front.
4- Very good pool crowds.. knowledgable and lively
5- I didnt see one sign or poster anywhere in the MGM advertsing the event.
6-Really entertaining matches..
7- Oscar and Dennis are doing well and match up good together in doubles.
8- Sometimes I think the players talk to much to each other about some shots. they are pros and know where they need to be. Dennis needs a little consideration being a lefty.
9-Mika and ralf appeared to struggle and that was surprising
10-$5 per can coke Yes thats $5 for a can of coke..not the white kind
11-Darren is a great choice but needs to make sure he stays respectful..
He brings emotion into the mix and surprising to me he has a very
genuineness to him.
12-where is the Mosconi cup merchandise???
13-amazingly fun to sweat each shot and try and figure out what the pros were going to do
14-doubles and team mix is a nice changeup
15- I still love 9ball
16- ennjoyed meeting new faces and seeing some older ones
17- I wouldnt hestitate to attend again and would travel to do it.
18-Sunny did her part and more with the signs and attitude not to mention
being lady liberty
Allison Fisher and Melissa Herndon were also there. Nice to see some pros supporting.
19-Hate I couldnt stay and being there at the end
20- One plus one !!
