I could tell you of the time took a bunch of fraternity types for a load of dinero
and how it started with my own personal pool cue
I was dating a cheerleader at north texas,probably the prettiest girl in school
What she saw in me is neither here nor there,but i once won about $675 at a time
when that was money,big money,enough to keep me in school and out of Viet Nam
All the boys were going goo goo over this beauty when I came in with my plain little cue,
I screwed it together and said,get in line its time to gamble
Seemed to really attract them, this babe said ,"I love pool "so I said $25 bets,and before you knew it$700 less quarters were in my pocket
Finally I said to her,you got any money you want to gamble or are you getting by on looks?
Why did I say it?who knows,I felt cocky with all that money,so I said something a bit saucy
Now she had been chased all her life until she found what so many others have discovered

From that day on I was no longer on the outside looking in.
It started with a cheap cue and $45 in my pocket
