So i have a cue that i cant identify. go figure. its a camels cue that i think is a replica editon of one that Steve Mizerak used in in the 90's. im not really sure if thats correct but from what i have found on it thats what it seems like. the photos posted include ALL of the identifying marks i could find on the cue. What i really want to know is who makes it? and how much is it worth? i realize second hand pool cues may not often sell for alot but i want to make sure i didnt waste my time with it. only spent $40 but still. below is a link to the phots mentioned.

You're linking to your password protected skydrive. That's not gonna work.

At any rate, you said it was a "Camel Mizerak", that alone means it most likely is worth very little.

I might be the only person you will find that collects any of the low end Mizerak cues while knowing that they aren't really woth anything. I have talked to a couple people that wanted serious money for some of those cues and honestly they were out of their mind. They really didn't know anything about cues and thought they found something very collectable or "custom". None of the Camel Mizerak ones I have ever seen are anything that interests me.

The only Camel cues that I am aware of that are of any quality or collectability were made my McDermott, they are not marked Mizerak. If it has a clover logo on it, that's a McDermott.

The McDermott Camel cue is in fact interesting to me, and to others.

We really need to see a pic of what you have. Maybe it's something I have not seen before. I am in fact very curious.

If all of the McDermott's are marked with a clover than this one is definately not. its got the Steve Mizerak logo along with a copy of his signiture. the photos show everything i could find. I got the pool cue to use though not just sit around on display. i just dont know alot about it so i didnt want to find out that i was ruining an expensive cue with my clumsy shots!

That's what I suspected it was. No, it's not the McDermott, and certainly not a reproduction of anything Mizerak used....or anybody else for that matter. It's just a promotional item for Camel Cigarettes. Typically advertised as "highly collectible and rare" No uncommon to pick them up for five or ten bucks....forty would be on the high end, new in the package.

It might be collectible for people that collect some of that Camel gear but generally not to pool/billiards people.

There has been an entire set for sale recently on Ebay, with the Camel cue rack and all the original Camel cases. They haven't been able to sell it.

If you come across a McDermott Camel cue for $40, let me know, I want one. But they are worth a bit more than that.....several times more. Yes, it would have the McDermott logo on it, but otherwise look remarkably like that one.

I can't imagine it would play very well. A house cue is likely better. But it will hit balls. .....and of course Joe Camel is cool....so you have that.....:)
