Mystery cue

Trying to help a friend identify this cue, He got it from California from a lady who said it belong to her father and had it for 40 years and kelp behind the bar he owned, The first thing is the pin is a 3/8 11.5 or 12 and is a piloted joint, joint material is looks like ivory but is not, 5/16 weight bolt with delrin butt cap. nice looking cue but just trying to figure out who made it, someone suggested Terry Stonier cue's but his have brass pin and are not piloted. Thanks for looking

For some reason, ADAM Japan is popping in my mind, but I'm sure that may not be correct.

IMHO that style of pin wasn't available 40 years ago. I believe it's been around since mid to late 1990's or so. I think this cue is newer than 1980 which would change the potential cue makers available.

Old 12 pin?

I have seen that pin. Who was it. Not 40 years ago though.

I don't think it's a stonier. But yes, Terry did make piloted 3/8x10 joints.

I don't think the tip is always an indicator of age. It's a consumable item

Could be Prather?
