Naples, FL

Any 9' tables in the area?

I have a sister that lives there, said there is a poolroom there so if I ever get to go visit I'll have a place to play. Don't know the name of the room or what size tables they have but maybe google it.

I have a second home in Naples. Not much pool there. I have only seen one pool hall down in south Naples, did not look like a place that I would visit. I think that you will have to go to Diamonds in Ft. Myers- half hour away. There was a pool hall listed in Bonita Springs, I could not find it on my last trip there. Also check with Billiard Bill 239 823 0408. He knows the pool scene down there well.

None that I know of. I'm in Ft Myers. Run the weekly Wednesday tourney at Diamond Billiards as well. I offer cue repair and deal custom cues.

Give me a call. There's 6 pool halls in Ft Myers/Cape Coral which isn't far. None in Naples but one you want to stay away from for sure.

Yeah well I am from Baltimore and only 35 and 6'1" 230 pounds (maybe a softer 230 lol) but that would not be the place I would want to play at...

Lived in Naples for 15 years up to 2013. The room just off East Trail is one where I'd be concerned about leaving my car in the lot unattended. BTW, Diamond Billiards in Cape Coral is a legit room (been there many times) but the drive from Naples is at least an hour (or more) depending on time of day.

Bingo.

Depending where you are coming from it is a 45 minute drive to an 1 hour and 15 minutes maybe an hour and a half if you are WAY deep in south Naples or near Marco Island...

But you get to see some of my cues too. Lol. #ShamelessPlug

Just call or text me if you need any info or directions etc...

Awesome! I am travelling down to Cape Coral this month to visit my sister.

I will visit Diamond Billiards and check it out.

Thanks guys!

Yes, they are. Note Chicago player Jeff Mohl walking around the main action table.
Yes that is Jeff and on the other side of the table is Mario Cruz... Although I am sure you know him, he used to be one of the big boys on the Seminole Pool Tour with Corey Deuel. Justin Hall is usually there if not playing elsewhere in a big tourney.

What I will say is, the One Pocket game is strong in that room from known and unknown players...

And I am off heading there to run my tourney tonight which is every Wednesday and you have to be there by 7:00pm and it is on the 8- 9 foot Diamonds.

Wasn't there a place called "Art's"? I could have sworn Grady Matthews did an event there a while back. Maybe its gone now? I played there maybe 10 or 12 years ago. Maybe more.

I really want that #4 cue from the left end, lol. So beautiful.

Glad you guys let us know this. I think my sister must have driven by (daytime) the place in Naples and just assumed it was ok, she's not in the pool world at all. Glad I saw this thread.

Any 9' tables in the area?

I see a pool hall called Champions Billiards in Naples FL on google maple. I live in Louisville, but if I were in Naples, I would not be afraid to visit this place.

I read a recent review on google maps, and it did not sound like a bad place. I think that just so you mind your own business (not get nosy with anyone for example), and are nice and friendly, then you should be fine in any pool room in the world. But that is just my guess. I have been in some pretty rough looking pool halls with rough looking crouds, and nobody ever bothered me. People are actually a lot cooler then you think they are. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Yes, the room off East Trail (Champions) was called Art's a number of years ago. Same place.

are those places non smoking around there? Bill.

Yes they are but Diamonds has such tall ceilings that it is only bad at night later.

All in Florida are smoking for the most part unless the owners do not allow it, kind of grandfathered in.
