This cue is going to Blowfish. I actually put the first coat of finish on this cue before the SBE this year. I then walked passed the cue for a month or two asking myself if I should change the handle. I hated the piece of wood that was in there. Finally I told myself that if I had to ask myself, then the handle had to go.

Several months later, the cue is finally finished. Thanks for your patience Jhun.

Nice judgment call Tony on using this piece of curly maple! Those woods look great together. This cue is going to one lucky customer.
 
Don't know what was in the handle before, but that new piece is gorgeous. Goes really nicely with all the curl in the Narra.

Here's a link to the cue when I had one coat of finish on it. There were some spots in the wood that were ugly. I'm not sure if it's in the photos or not.
