The beginning of the grip area is barely over an inch .
1.060" on the fat side . Most hover around 1.0" to 1.050".
The bottom hovers around 1.230" to 1.275".
That's a lot of wood and weight to take out .
And, there is not much demand for it .
Players are ok by the slight taper of two-piece cues.
House cues are a lot more conical in the grip area.
