national squad of Poland playing at Taiwan

When I occasionaly mention here on AZB that some European countries alone could beat US I usually get laughed upon, especially when I mention Poland. So just to show you what I am talking about - Polish national squad consisted of Mateusz Śniegocki, Mieszko Fortuński and Tomasz Kapłan is now at Taiwan to prepare for European Championships and World Games and they are playing a series of matches against Taiwan top players. Today they played 10 matches against Taiwan n.1,3,4,5 and 6 players and overall score was 6:4 for Poland :smile: Here are the results:

M. Śniegocki - Ko Pin-Han - 8-7
T. Kaplan - Ko-Pin-Chung - 8-7
M.Fortuński - Yen-Chen-Lun 8-7
M.Śniegocki - Ko -Pin-Chung 4-8
T. Kapłan - Ko Pin-Han - 7-8
M. Fortunski - Ko-Pin-Yi - 6-8
M. Śniegocki - Yen-Chen-Lun - 8-2

This gentleman speaks the truth. With a population equal to that of California, Poland has nine players with established Fargo Ratings of 750 and higher --very impressive...
 
Ok here is update. While on day 1 they played 9ball, on day 2 it was 10ball. Results are here:

T. Kapłan - Ko -Pin-Han 6-7
M. Fortunski - Ko-Pin-Chung 6:7
T. Kapłan - Ko-Pin-Yi 0-7
M. Fortunski - Ko-Pin-Han 5-7
M. Śniegocki - Yen-Chen-Lun 7-3
M. Śniegocki - Ko-Pin-Han 7-5
T. Kaplan - Yen-Chen-Lun 7-5
M. Fortunski - Ko-Pin-Yi 7-2.

So after two days the overall score is 10:9 in Polands favour. Today game of choice will be 8ball. ;)

So overall Taiwan won 16:12 in matches, by polish players admission taiwaneese had much stronger break in 8b which made the difference ;)
