Some tough flights for some.

Two interesting observations at a quick glance.
1. I don't see Jim Shovak in the flights
2. I see Charlie Brown as a player. Who is the TD?
 
Jim Shovak is home with his wife who just got released from the hospital.

Charles Brown and Merrill Hughes are running the tournament. Charles is playing to even out the field at 42 players.
 
Glad to hear she's back home, Jim!

I see no Lupe Cruz!!. Good thing we had a qualifier. Haha.
 
I already saw at least 3 upsets.

John, what happened to Lupe? I thought for sure he was coming.
 
Not sure what happened to Lupe. Bob had talked to him. Rosie could have been subbed for Lupe. I did not know until too late, to let Rosie know. Do you need to declare a alternate?

I see some upsets, too, Jim. And some strong local(?) players.

Too bad. Rosie would have been a good addition.
 
We are starting to see some changes in the landscape. We have some players who are on the way up such as Edward Gomez, Allen Castillo, Sergio Hernandez, Tony Ferrara as well as some locals in Houston such as Thanh Vu, Cong Nguyen, Joel Rivera, Kim Hoang and others. There are also some rising young stars in New York as well. This is good to see.
