Sold Ned Morris Beautiful cue. Has 3 shafts, 2 are 13 MM and the 3rd is a 10.5MM

Sold Item
This is a beautiful Ned Morris cue built in 2006. Made with Claro walnut which is gorgeous and found around Sacramento. Ned acquired this wood from his brother that made guitars in the 60'd and 70's. Rare moose antler rings. Pink ivory and holly. Two 13MM tipped shafts are made by Ned but the 10.5MM shaft is not. The joint protectors are not made by Ned. Joint is 3/8-10 with his custom screw. The cue is absolute unplayed and has zero flaws, bumps, etc. Everything rolls straight and true. Ned is among the finest cue makers out there. Everyone that has played with a Ned Morris cue knows the hit is as good as it gets. He built six of this type of cues and all are very different as he never duplicates one of his cues, to sell in a pool show in 2006. One man came over and bought them all. This is one of his finest. I hope you can ask someone that owns a Ned Morris cue and maybe you can ask how it plays. I will add more of Ned's comments on this cue in the future. $2500.
Beautiful cue Colt. IMO Ned is right there at the top rung of cuemakers. He is a low key guy who lets his cue making ability do the talking for him. He's been turning out beautifully hand crafted gems for over three decades now and I've never seen one I didn't like. Ned made a cue for me about twenty years ago and it one of only about five cues in my collection that I will not sell. He is one of those cuemakers who knows how to make good hitting cues every time. I put him up there with Tad in that respect. Every serious cue collector should have one of his cues. Good luck with your sale.

Thanks so much Jay. We've got to let the pool community know how great Ned Morris' cue builds are.

The butt is perfect and seems unplayed to me. I think the shafts also. But, I'll change the post to say I do not know.

The shafts shows a lot of use in them, lots of bluing from chalk. Definitely not unplayed.

Nice cue btw, I've had a couple of Ned Morris, they're built to play, very solid hitting cues.

I did change the original ad. The butt is absolutely like Ned just finished it. If it was played someone kept it flawless. I did lower the price.

What did he use for the pin in this beauty? I believe he has used brass and even bronze in the past iirc.

I do believe he used brass for the 3/8-10 pin. He has them made just for him. Make an offer. Wife needs furniture. ha
