Hope this will help,I sniped the photos off of Mr. Scruggs website,Thanks for the pic's ,Tim. I think the ringwork in this cue is really nice. STBcueaddicts said:Blue book probably says $3000-$3500.....but in reality $2000-$2200 is probably a pretty good number on it. If the rings and buttap are ivory and the inlays are more detailed than they appear, add $500-$700.

Knowing Tim, I would guess that all of the white is ivory, with the possible exception of the butt cap.cuenut said:I'd give it about the same as Sean, again qualified by whether or not all of the white in the cue is ivory.
PoolSleuth said:I would think if it was listed for auction on E-bay for $2,000.00 it would sell, and not be re-listed. It is like a New Cue for all practical purposes.
Wish i had $2200...SPINTHEBALL said:Yes,the cue came from a collection and it is my inderstanding the work Tim did was only cosmetic.I do not sell on ebay and have never sold in this forum, but if anyone is interested in the cue,I can have a respected member here broker the deal. The asking price is $2200.00.No shill bidders to deal with and no auction or paypal fees!PM me if interested. STB

cueman said:I think $2200 may be a little high myself. But I am no expert. But here is a Scruggs in great condition I just bought. I would think $1500 would be more realistic on this cue and you would still have to find someone who wanted it to play with to get that. But like I said I am no expert, but I do buy a lot of cues and feel $1500 is realistic market on it. If I am wrong you should get bombarded with dealers offering you $1500.

Both cues have veneers. Just different colors. I think your cue is nicer than mine and that is why I estimated it to be worth a few hundred more. Put them side by side for $2500 and I doubt either will sell for a few years.SPINTHEBALL said:Hey Cueman, put 'em side by side both for $2500 and I bet the Veneer goes first. Even though it does not have the provanance, the veneer cue is much more appealing to me,with more Ivory and looks to be executed far better,if you compare the inlays. Thanks for the opinion though. Those considering the lowball $1500 offer, don't bother please.
I just spoke with the owner of the cue and he informed me that Mr. Scruggs has told him that the butt cap and ringwork are not Ivory, but all other inlays are.Hope this helps for all those who have expressed intrest in this cue. Thanks STBSPINTHEBALL said:The butt cap is not Ivory, everything else is.
