I'm done with these shit ass kamui tips. The quality is complete garbage. 3 tips over span of prolly 8 months have came apart. 2 brown medium an a black. I love the feel of a harder tip but not to hard. Any other tips that play close to them?

The old standby, Everest, is a great "hard medium" tip with excellent control and chalk-holding ability. There's a reason why Schon cues uses it for all their cues.

You may want to try one of our Premium Red tips. We’ve chopped off plenty of Kamui and Zan tips.
Thanks

I like a Medium G2, like them even better after they get broken in and harden up a bit.
I've used the G2, Thoroughbreds, SIB Pro's, and Tzars. All very good tips.
I have heard good things about the SIB Cool Blue as well.
👍

Pooldawg8 milk duds. It seems like a lot of the layered tip crowd are sleeping on one helluva great tip. I use them on everything, maple, kielwood, carbon fiber. They are damn good tips.

Is the same installer putting them on? Are they using proper techniques. Just wondering. Trimming at to high of speeds. Sanding to high of speeds and too much sanding. Same for burnishing. All have been known to cause tip separation.

I think it's interesting that you're experiencing delamination over and over. I'm wondering more about the installation and maintenance? I install a lot of tips and delamination is something I very seldom see, and if I do see it, it's often due to the customer installing the tip wrong, prying the layers apart or using way too much heat or burnishing the tip to death.
I sell and install a lot of Kamui tips (Certified dealer, I get my tips straight from Japan) and I don't see the issues you are describing at all.
I think all the recommendations you have gotten so far are good suggestions, but I would pay attention to the installation and maintenance. please don't use a tip pick. Use something like the Last4ever tip tool is my absolute favourite.

I like how the Tiger tips shot but I burned up a Dynamite in two months. I'm now using a How medium and it's been quite durable in addition to shooting well.

The shape has only been touched up once. I'm really impressed with how well the tip is holding up

Do you use any kind of tip tool on the tips?
