Good evening Folks,
I would like to get opinions on good instruction material for playing 1 Pocket. Something that would cover the breaks, escaping the breaks, general strategy, ect.
I saw that Freddy was speaking out for Toledo Joe's DVD, but I am somewhat skeptical as I have seen no reviews and I saw posted about signing a "no return" block during checkout. I have never returned any material I have ever bought playing this game (as I try to research it prior to buying it anyway) and that type of signature tells me to stay away. Nothing against the Beard at all. His material over the years have changed my banking from "never makable" to hangers =) Him speaking for Toledo does somewhat calm my intuition. However, signing something saying "Oh, I'm not going to return this" is just not my cup of Tea
Anyway. I generally go with a Grady DVD and he does offer 3 being Finer Points of 1P, Killer 1P, and Finishing Touch. I saw that Gabe Owen has a Beginner and Advanced offering, and I keep hearing about the newest from Scott Frost.
Keeping in mind that I am familiar with the game and the rules, but need to build an arsenal in it, which DVD do you believe I should start with for the most bang for the buck? If you do not want to answer this openly in the forum for whatever reason, shoot me a PM =) I'm good either way and I appreciate your time in answering.
Regards,
~Roy
