Hi,

I have a special needs child who used modeling clay to draw on the cloth.

The clay is your typical toys-r-us type clay, any idea what is good to try to take this up?

Thanks.

I'm not an expert but you probably should try (in order) scraping up all the solid bits with a putty knife or spatula or something, being careful not to actually scrape across the cloth. Just really close. Then a standard table brush (or a hairbrush in a pinch) to get the rest up, sweep towards the pocket. For the residue... man, I dunno. Vacuum as much as possible, then try e.g. chalk off.

Try this in the "ask the mechanic" forum also.

Maybe you could find out how good the Simonis X-1 table cleaner really is!

Hope your table comes clean.
