A friend of mine has this cue he picked up from some guy at the pool hall awhile ago thinking it was a old Joss, after looking it up in the blue book for cue's, I found out it wasn't,I also couldn't find out anything about it.It is a very beautifull and nice hitting cue with a 11.75mm or 12.00mm shaft,it has the letter's JQ or JO branded into the shaft above the female thread's.One picture is bad but I can take more.Thank you for your help!

I really have no clue Myself, but could It possibly be an old Jerry Oliver?

I'd be very surprised if it were a Jerry Olivier. Nothing about the cue says Olivier to me especially that funky pin. Wish I could say what it is instead of what it isn't. Good luck.

Yeah Gene, I didn't feel It looked like one either. I was just taking at a wild guess based on the initials.

Most of His cues I've seen look to be 3/8-10 or somewhere in there, but he does use the initials "JO", only from what I've seen that's usually marked on the butt cap, and not the shaft like this one, but then I have only seen newer models. I was just taking a stab that possibly It could be a early cue or something. I've seen alot of older cues that don't look like the maker's usual work, so figured anything was posible. I have no idea who made this cue. Over the years, I'm sure there have been more then one maker with those initials, or "JQ" if that is what they are. This cue looks to have atleast a few years on It from the pictures.

Please post another photo of the pin from the front, and remove the bumper and take a picture that show the inside of the butt.

Thanks Craig
