I have some nice pictures to post; but they are several megabytes in size (JPG format). How do you convert them to something of 100 kilobytes which seems to be the AZB limit?????

Help.

You can use a photo program to change the size. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0. It will cost around 100 bucks.

If you don't have the program, pm me for my e-mail and I would be happy to resize them for you in a few minutes.

it's much easier to create a photobucket account and then upload your original size pictures to photobucket. then you can insert the pictures directly into your post. if you need help, let me know and i can help walk you thru it.

I use Photoshop Elements or the old Microsoft Photoeditor that came with office products. I'd be happy to resize them for you if you need it, but I see you already have a few offers for that. Just pm me if needed.

The only way that I can tell you to reduce a pic is to open it in a photo editor and select image then size and reduce until it is less than the minimum, saving it as a copy so you can keep the original is your best bet.

In Windows XP, I use the PAINT application to reduce pixels. I copy the .jpeg file onto my desktop. I pull it up in PAINT. I then click on the IMAGES button at the top, the fourth one over in the PAINT application.

I then click on STRETCH/SKEW in the IMAGES button and reduce the pixels from 100 to about 25 on the HORIZONTAL and VERTICAL choices, depending on the size of the .jpeg file.

Hope this helps!

I find this to be the easiest, quickest way. ;)

Go here to download Microsoft Power Toys which will let you resize any picture simply by right clicking the file. It will make a duplicate in the same directory, but in a smaller size and you will have 3 choices of size. Sometimes, the large one still is under 100kb.

Exactly what she said! It's the easiest because you can do it right then and there as you are posting! :)
