Need help repair a Cognocenti cue

A friend of mine has a Cognocenti cue that the pin was broken when he threw the cue on the table after missing a shot.
What should we do to repair it? Do we have to send it to Joe Gold or any CM can do this kind of repair?
I took pictures of the damaged cue but don't know how to insert it here
Any help would be appreciated!

most cue makers can replace the pin for you if that's what it needs. little more work with g10 pins from what i hear though but i don't think it'll be real expensive
 
Cognocenti cue

Cognocenti cues, Bobby Hunter cues i think are the same special pin.
it sounds like Mr Webb is really doing you a big favor.
other than that send the cue to Cognocenti cue and let him fix it.
its 2 nice of a cue to be throwing around.

Hi Mike
The Cog has an undersized 7/16X11. Bob uses his own 3/8X10. Someone said before Joe was changing but I haven't seen it yet. I would never even consider giving up the joint screw but Nam and I have a good history.

i was off on that one sorry. i knew that cog and hunter used there own special pins i was thinking they were the same i stand corrected.

i wanted to make a set of protectors for my hunter.
3/8x10 female will fit on the pin
but a 3/8x 10 male pin will not fit in ther shafts:(
anyway thread is about a cog not a hunter sorry

Hi Mike
I might be able to help, Is the 3/8X10 pin to tight to screw in to the shaft. I have the split die for the 3/8X10, if it's to tight I can chase an aluminum or brass pin with the die closed a bit to make it smaller.
 
After further discussion with Nam, I think it's safer if the cue comes back to the States for the repair.
 
He is a hot-tempered person and I guess he might have thought no problem throwing the cue on the table. I think he knows now. Lesson learnt the hard way!
