Trying to help a friend get a new shaft but he doesn't know what type of joint it is and neither do I. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

It's a Players cue if that helps at all.

Piloted joints generally seem to be of the 5/16 x 14 variety but Players generally is the 5/16 x 18.

Take a ruler & very carefully count the spiral rings per inch, 14 vs 18.

Best 2 All.

Click on AZB marketplace, check out seyberts - they have a joint chart that's very useful and will tell you ( and show you ).

Hard to get a shaft, though :sorry:
You can also count the threads to confirm if it's a x18 or x14 (both are used in cheaper models).
