Ok, so I would assume that some of you are computer literate, seeing as you are on a computer at this very moment.
I am working on a billiards website(sales) from the ground up.. You can even see it evolve live if you like.
Over the last week I have been working on a xml/flash system that will allow me as the website owner to dynamically alter a text file (xml) to relay product information and ratings on hundreds of billiards products to a flash file that never needs to be altered but updates itself when the xml document is updated.
I want your input!
I have had hundreds of cues in my hands along with many more billiards products.
I want your ideas on what kind of information you want to know before you buy.
My ideas:
Ratings or delimeters for price,performance,value
The price will give a good sence of where the cue fits in the spectrum of cues eg. low end, high end
Performance: though not always being from my personal experience, but from what I have heard and see from the product and community
value: my personal feeling as to the price/value
I was also thinking I would add a section that explains the ratings and why I gave the ratings
and I would also be able to stream other flash videos pertaining to the product very easily.
Any input would be great
Andy
