I need to know if anyone has info on ASKA Cues. Are they any good I am guessing they are not the best by any means but are they a ok cuefora beginner of a average player? Any help is appreciated.

They are inexpensive Cues made off shore. A friend own one of their SP he bought on e-bay, it was IMHO worth the price paid. He now own and Joss, and sold his Aska Cue to someone who want an inexpensive SP.

IMHO there are no Magic Cues , Tips , etc. It is the person who is shooting with the Cue that make it a Magic Wand.

If you friend lives in the Valley of the Sun, a TRIP to Shoot the Bull might be worth his or her time. Shoot the Bull on Indian School, as they too have Reasonable Priced Cues, plus you can TRY BEFORE you Buy, and the staff is not pushy salesmen.

They are pretty much the next step above department store cues.IMO
I would suggest stepping up just a little. Just Saying.
Myself and others on the forum could offer way better options.
PM me if interested.

right when i decided to pull the trigger and buy a mezz ec-n they stopped carrying them. that's all i know about them

I bought a McDermott and Aska case from a dealer on E-bay. Can't give you opinion on their cues, but the case was a good case for a starter.

For under $100 the only way to go is Players. They make the only decent cue in that price range and they back it up with a lifetime warranty that includes shaft warpage.

I permanently deleted them from my ebay cue search along with about 5 other sellers who flood the cue and the case categories. I never heard of them outside of ebay so I can't really speak good or bad about them but I have a feeling there are better alternatives out there.

I bought a set of cheap house cues, a Viking, and a case from them a couple of years ago- the house cues weren't bad for the price.

I have no complaints about the service- they forgot to include a set of joint protectors (stuff happens) and shipped them out immediately when I informed them of the fact.
