I beg to differ, my experience with 860 is if you be kind to it,
it will stay around a bunch of years
Its not supposed to have nap. You CAN install it upside down and that does happen. If so, that side DOES have a little fuzz as its not shaved like the correct side. Even when worsted starts looking a tad used it still plays great. Its the nature of the cloth. Simonis wears like iron.
Totally agree. Vacuum every now and then and maybe wipe-down with a water/Woolite mix from time-to-time and it will last a long time.
Yes. HR is same blend as 760 but with thread-count of 860. They shave it a little differently to show marks less. Best cloth they make imo. BTW, 860 is 90/10 also buts its heavier/thicker than 300Rapide. I played golf a snooker table with 300 on it and its like playing on glass. Fasssssssssst.

I played for about 4-5 years in the same place. Putting in about 20 hrs a week there.
Every year the owner replaced the Simonis. Every year I watched that cloth wear thin and get faster, had it's share of tiny holes from burn.
Those tables got played hard. The cloth needed to be replaced after about 8 months.
I've seen a fair share of Simonis wear out.

I agree. A busy commercial spot will put a lot of miles on any cloth. Quick. Good owner for doing that often. Wish more were like that.
