I need some radial taps...and Atlas is out of stock. Who are the machinists who can/will make a quality tap?

Or I f anyone has some to sell I'm interested.

I'm looking for two standard and two oversized. Yes, oversized, not undersized.

If you can reply or PM me, i would appreciate it!

This guy sells on ebay what is called "Ball Thread"..... I think it is the same thread... But you may want to ask him to be sure... http://www.ebay.com/itm/2017-NEW-Am...510162?hash=item2a635aa092:g:QvwAAOSwY3BZIOzY

I bought this tap from Perry's website instead of his eBay store. This is my honest opinion.

Without having seen or used the real deal Radial tap that Atlas sells,as an experienced machinist I can say with 100% confidence that the one he sells is a WELL-made piece. You will even need to clean it with laquer thinner or something before you use it to tap maple because it has some kind of protective film on it for rust prevention just like a quality American thread tap.

On the other hand, since you want these taps you'll probably want pins at some point too.

Buy American on those. The real Radial or the Migliore versions are made by people that know how to make accurate and NICE looking pins. Perry's might be accurate but look nowhere near as well-made as far as aesthetics right out of the machine. Tommy D.

I bought pins from Tom. I heard Perrys taps used to make for a loose fit, but Perry said he tightened it a bit. I might have to give his a shot. I'll sleep on it.
