need shaft opinions for my dale perry

Hey guys, I bought a dale perry custom cue a few months ago (yes one of the ebay cues). First off, the cue is amazing, right out of the box, for the price. Only thing is the original shaft that comes w these ebay DPs does feel and look a little cheap. I really want to buy a new shaft for the cue. Has anyone hit the dale perry dp-r? I want to go either that route or I've seen tiger ultra x shafts priced real well, as well as ob-1 shafts. I just have no method of testing any, so I need solid opinions on replacements. Remember the dale perry has a radial pin joint, so I need compatible suggestions. Thanks guys and sorry for the long post!
 
I have a spare DP R shaft if you want it.
My wife and I have 3 of Dales and I agree, they are very nice players for the money and a little bit more.

I did the Radial shaft exchange that Dale will let you do when you buy one of his cues. Its just sitting here not in use. I only played a few games with it so I can't give you a great opinion on it over one of his regular shafts. I've been pleased with the shafts that I have received from Dale.

Its a decent shaft and plays well, is about I can tell you of it.

The reason that I'm selling it is because I'm selling both of my DPs. I have to thin the herd and those are going as well as many others.
Not much sense in owning a bunch of closet queens. Cues are meant to be played with.

Actually KJ, my wife has been quite supportive of my stupidity over the years.

I'm a lucky man. Did I mention that she is a Psych nurse?

i have a tiger shaft an a predetor 314 for my dale perry an love it w/those shafts hate the ord.shaft i even put ivory ferrel on it... i had a custom cue made so im gonna sell the dp w/3shafts if u no anyone looking ill take $750.00 or a little less,its a $1200.00 cue new if u want to see pictures send me ur email
