For the past year my game has really been going up and up. For almost 6 years now i've been using Falcon cues. I love Falcons, they hit well for me but recently i've been hitting with some of my friends customs they have bought on line and i'm really interested in having a custom cue made to my specifications. Although I would love nothing more than to have the money to commission Tim Scruggs or J. Pechauer to design and make the cue, its just not so. Does anyone on here know of a good cue maker who would work with me on a design at a reasonable (and yes i am more than willing to pay good money for a cue and the work that goes into it) cost. I know the design I have in mind will cost a little bit more but its worth it for me. If you have someone in mind I might be able to talk to about it please let me know. Thanks alot to everyone on here.

There are many excellent cue makers on this forum and all would love to build a cue for our forum members.

I personally would recommend Mike Webb or Skip Weston.
Their designs are awesome, the wait times are not exceptionally long and the prices are geared to keep your gas tank from running empty.

Just a thought!

If you're talking price and workmanship, you will probably not find a better deal for a new custom players cue than Andy Gilbert out of Clever, MO. His number is 417-743-2759. If you call, please let him know that I referred you. He's easy to deal with and you will be very surprised and pleased with a new cue order from Andy. He's still one of the best kept secrets in cuemaking.

Talk with Todd Elkins [Parrot Cue] in Richmond, VA, http://www.parrotcue.com . He enjoy working with other people on designing their cue. Todd a joy to work with.

I like bob dzuricky.. www.dzcues.com you might send him a email and see what he'd do for you.

Would think you could find a pechauer fairly inexpensive though if you like them..

Another option that I would strongly suggest is to buy a low end schon.

i dont have a cue by mike webb, but i sent him a cue to rework the pin on and some shafts to referrule and retaper and i have to say he does topnotch work. He was very easy to work and didnt charge me an arm and a leg. Matter of fact, the cue he reworked for me, he was changing the insert on the shaft and because it was of low qualiity the finish peeled on it, and he made me a new shaft for free!! I felt bad and offerrred to pay him for it but he said no........unbelieveably honest guy.

Bob Dzuricky does build nice cues, especially for those that like a firm hit. He is very easy to work with, also.
