Need some Help identifying ferrule material

I have some older ferrule material that was amongst the items I purchased from a cue makers stuff. I'm trying to be sure I know what I'm using. They would be pre 2008 if that helps eliminate others.
I figured the ones on the right labeled LBM are linen based micarta and they're at 9\16"
The ones on the left are a little under 5\8" and some have a slight shading change running through them, last picture.

Not sure how the pictures look but they are not a pure white.

Isn't melamine more plastic like? This is more solid

All I have is colored juma and it doesn't seem like the same consistency.

Anybody know if LBM might mean linen based micarta? Is there such a thing?

I just typed a google search with the words, LBM ferrule, and looks like there is such a thing. Actually a lot of the posts were from this forum. Try a search on this forum.

Juma has a uniform cream color. Elforyn has two types; either bright white or a swirl of cream/white as in the pictured example.

It's certainly not a LBM type material as there's no weave structure at all. Looks like a thermoset material. Juma, T-34 or Elforyn. Tell us what a 1" piece weights and it should be possible to tell if it's Juma/T-34 or Elforyn.

Will do when I get home today, they do seem to be two different materials.

So I faced them down to 1" and weighed them. The stuff labeled lbm sands up solid white. The right half in the picture was sanded and when I faced it off it didn't ribbon and was more chalky like. 0.564 dia. 1" long 7gram or 0.2 oz.

The stuff on the left {elforyn?} still kept it's white and cream color and it ribboned when facing. 0.67 dia. 1" long 7 gram or 0.2 oz.

Cool. I'll do a 1" piece tomorrow and check the weight. If it's Elforyn, there's a super easy tell. Did it smell coconut while turning it?

Thanks for everyone's help directing my search path. It does seem to be Elforyn and linen based melamine from what I've looked up and read.

Kim, I am curious if the weight matches up with what you have, please let me know when you get the chance. yeah, it had a coconut like scent to it.

I don't know how that's possible .
LBM Is really white and has a linen weave .
LBM is very hard and pingy .

It did sand up whiter, is hard and pingy, but doesn't look like a weave in it.

There was a thread from 2006 were some of you talking about the LBM from Atlas being inferior, black specs and chips when cutting. I was wondering if it was some of that seeing how all the supplies that I purchased from this guy are from 2008 or earlier. I turned a little back and a black speck appeared and it chips more than ribbon when cutting. I tried to video it but too big for the server.
Is there any other stuff he might have labeled LBM?
Maybe I can send you a piece Joey to look at?

It is hard to tell detail from that picture but it does resemble the Aegis ferrules I have worked with. I never have an issue with the material having flaws, but you had to be extremely careful not to get dust worked into it as you sanded it. Especially from the tip.
