OMG, Larry Nevel will never, ever forget this game. And Dennis Orcullo too in the earlier rounds. This match was just too painful to watch. Dennis showed some flashes of brilliance in the later rounds but Larry Nevel seemed like he wanted to go back to his hotel room and sleep.

I don't know what happened to Larry but he wasn't himself. A lot of people are unaware that Larry is severely diabetic and it doesn't take much to get him off kilter at times. You just never know why he didn't show up. He still had a great showing in the US Open.
