Never

I glued a tube in my first pen and had some dust in my nose.....I picked it to get it out.....it made a mess and I lost all of my nose hair on one side. I had to share even though I'm not a cuemaker. I got a good laugh out of it though

Did the chex mix taste good though?

Had a bright idea to wear latex gloves once, when i was new, while applying cyno to seal up some new pieces. Cyno set up on the glove and it melted to my hand in 3 places. Cussed as I pealed the gloves off and while cleaning the crystallized crud off my hand. Ohh and be careful where you spray accelerator!!

Currently have a piece of latex glued to my thumb thanks to gluing brass tubes while making pens. This is my latest (shock absorber pen). Lousy writer but cool looking.

That is a cool pen!!

The Cyano didn't get in my mouth, it set up on my lip. Took awhile to get it all off...

in case you missed it

About 15 years ago I was going to do my first sg finish. No mask no ventilation no fan. Any way as the tears were about blinding me not to mention the fumes. I stepped away from my lathe to try to get a breath of air. I almost fell as I came out of my shoe. I had sg'ed my shoe to the floor.

That's funny stuff right there. I hurt myself laughing so hard.

Had plenty of "never" moments with that stuff over the years.

One time I had my 5 year-old boy in the shop. A pretty gal came in and I started flirting with her, ingnoring the kid. All of a sudden I hear him calling me kinda panicky sounding.

I turn around and see he's climbed up on my stool and poured it all over the fingerboard of a violin that was clamped in my patternmaker's vise... and got his entire palm glued to the fingerboard. That took a lot of acetone, toothpick, and patience.

Got it off him before Mom came to pick him up, thank God.

Wish It was just a shoe for me. I once broke the top of of one of those large bottles, or the bottle itself cracked, don't remember which, but It dumped out all over My shoes, only I was wearing flip flops, so My foot got glued to the shoe, and the shoe to the floor. Another reason I should have been wearing proper shoes.
