New addition to the Legends and Champions Tour. Great news.

Well, I got great news today. I am planning a Legends and Champions Pool Tour to start at the beginning of March. We will be covering the western and parts and the Pacific NW region again. It will be a year since we were last there. Time flys. Nick Varner will be along as always as he brings so much to the tours in the way of not just his credentials of 8 world titles and Hall of Fame member but his experience, showmanship and teaching ability are something that The tour needs. Since it is the Legends and Champions Tour its my job to find a Legend, a Champion or both to complete the line up. So I was happy today when 2 time World Champion, back to back Challenge of Champions Champion, Back to back US Open Champion and Mosconi Cup MVP winner "Dynamite" Darren Appleton called and agreed to be a part of the Tour.
As a side note for people like myself that like a little history as most know only 3 people have ever won the US Open back to back and Darren and Nick are two of them, not only back to back but these guys are the only 2 who have won the US open back to back without loseing a match. (Nothing against Mika's historic back to back) As we all know Darren is already a Champion and one day will be a Legend and so he is a great addition to the Legends and Champions Tour. From the reports I have received so far Darren is also a great instructor and as Johnny Archer said "He's a straight shooting son of a gun"

Well thats all for now, I have to get to work and set this tour up ASAP. I hope that if we are in your area that you will stop by, see the show and say hi. Once I have the tour set I will be announcing the dates and places etc.

As above my friend it will be just Nick and Darren. We may do a tour of the south later in the year and would hope to hit SC. Its an exhibition/clinic tour. Alot of fun.
 
Hey Mark, what a great "pick-up". Not only will Daz add much for LCPT, but I'm sure he's going to add a lot of character and fun as a traveling mate.

On the other side of the coin, I hope you can write-off beer as an expense.

I am sure he will bring more stories to the book :) Its gonna be different and I am looking forward to it.
