New Bar Table?

We all have our preferences on the table we like to play on. There are several on the market, with my personal favorite, being Diamond.

BUT................

If you could design a new bar table, what requirements would you have? How would you design it?

I can't answer this question really, as I did do what you're talking about...only I didn't just talk about it....I did it...it's called a "Diamond" smart table:grin: Further more, most people on AZ and all around the world really have no clue as to what makes a bar table work, but they do how what a table should play like. Now if this question was about cues, that would be a different story:grin:

One thing I'd definately like is for it to use the Aramith magnetic cue ball. I believe it to be a much better ball for bar table play than the red circle. For me the red circle is too flighty and easy to move, traits not good or necessary for bar table play. Other than that I wouldn't change anything about the Diamond smart table. It's definately a much better table than the valleys or dynamos. Although in the wrong environment(like a lot of bars in my area) the Artemis cushions would not mesh well. In my area, South Carolina, our humdity levels can be outrageous at times and the Artemis cushions become basically unplayable. The rebound is sooooooo unnatural and way too springy in those conditions. For some reason the valley cushions don't undertake the same metamorphosis and are still very playable... Of course this is all my opinion
