I still say Bacote. My DZ bacote s/p has nice figuring also...See pic below

The wood has very nice figure regardless, and I heard recently that Cory's sneakys hit really well. I like the 59" option as well. If I wasn't waiting for a new sneaky right now I'd jump at that price...Tom

Mexican bocote

ok I am going with Mexican Bocote... is this the right one?

I agree with Lisa. It don't matter where its from, but its definitely Bacote. I'm NOT a huge fan of how Bacote looks, but my bacote s/p IS my best playing cue I got, which is why I'm glad it never sold, and is not for sale now. I'm not sure if all Bacote cues play like this one, but this one's a winner to me, and I own it! lol Good luck with your sale sir...BUMP for a good guy!

If you are looking for a great sneaky, this is one of them. Very high quality workmanship, and fantastic player.

Cory no longer makes sneakies from blanks like these. He said he would buy 10 just to get 3 that met his standards for quality. Now, he makes all of his cues from scratch, including the wrapless players (what many would call sneakies, but different). These have 5 short spliced points and start at around $475.

Golfparent is great to work with, also.
