thank you very much Alton, but a slight correction

Alton, thanks so much for the caps. The instructions were from Barry Szamboti, however the instructions came with his verification that the cue was made by his father. Mine is a Gus cue from 83-84 according to Barry, and the ame pattern as the one in the picture, but not the same cue.

Although he could not be certain, he thought is quite possible that this was he dad's actual cue because of three things; the pattern in the butt sleeve, the length 58.5", but most inportant, the way the joint screw was set more forward. I forget the exact setting , however, Barry told me that was the way his dad did on his personal cues and only a few others. On my actual cue, which is almost identical to the pictures, the dashes in the butt are longerand there are 6 going around the top and bottom of the butt sleeve.

I look forward to getting the caps for this cue and having more made for several others.
