After much work and getting the new CNC saw/Lathes out there, one that has 4 blades fulll blown CNC and the other one, is a single headed CNC one that will fit on a 10" table saw. Both have done well for us. Were still taking orders, for both.

Now, were working on two more machines.

One will be a new CNC 4-axis mill, for parts and pockets. It will have 6 leveling bolts to keep it level, square rails with bearings to match, that will last for 2million inches of travel before they need to be replaced, also with a real nice vacuum pump and vacuum station for holding down parts while being machine cut, 4- axis, with a gantry system that is a low profile type, [ much closer tolorances than tall ones], 30" of X travel, with 2" Y with 4" for the Z .....It also has a steady rest to hold the middle of the cue "STEADY", while cutting the female pockets. I refuse to build this machine and install a cheap spindle. It will have an NSK spindle. Computer included with software installed.
It will come in around $8,500.00.. killer machine

Next is our new repair and cue building lathe, smooth cross slide as well as saddle slide, 1-5/16 spindle hole, up to 4 taper bars, with 2 motors one to control the spindle and the other one to control the saddle speed. It will accomdate a 30" cue with no problems. Also a steady rest for holding up long cues such as house cues for ferrule and tip work.
This will come in at around $ 5,500.00. kick-butt machine.

We still offer courses for cuemaking and cue repair. We also teach cad drawing and G-Code work.We design many cues for other cuemakers as well as do there Cad work. If interested, please call my son, Donald or me [blud] @ 830-232-5991.

Training is included with the purchase of our machinery.

We will soon have new video tapes on cuemaking and cue repair.Stay tuned. Were just so busy, we can't get to everthing at this time.

PLEASE REMEMBER, were here to help one and all.

Most of you folks know of our machinery. It's first class, and willl last you a long time.

Look forward to seeing the machines, I've seen enough leather jigs. I'm a little old fashion when it comes to that, especially at that rediculous price their selling for.
OKAY, I'm a lot old fashion.
Mike, as you know, my stuff is not the "norm" that others come with.

My leather jig works very well and is easy to use, and will sell for around $150.00.

Old fashion or not, it's the nutts....[ nothing wrong with change, as long as it's a chance to up-grade].

Hi Tracy, Pictures will come with it, and HOW TO, explained on paper, with diagrams. It's really simple, that's why it's a lot less expensive than the others. Don't believe in gouging folks to survive...

That's appreciated. I would have bought one sometime back, but I just believe the asking price is too high on certain ones. I don't mind paying a fair price for anything, but dang!!!!

If you wouldn't mind, I would like to call you early next week to talk more on it (I promise not to take up too much of your time).

parts

If someone has to replace a part on the lathe can it be purchased at a place like MSC, or are you the only supplier of parts.
Mike, the only thing that I can think of, is motors, switches, and bearings, everything else we build or have built. The owner will be given a complete parts list and where and how to buy them.Motors, switches and bearings are the only thing I buy for these machines, the rest as stated, we build or have built. We will care a complete inventory of all parts. [ not many required btw].
The machine will be gurranteed for one year, under normall usage. The motor, switches, are for normally 90 days, which I get as an OEM, from my suppliers.

BTW, my machine can be running one direction and you can hit the wrong direction switch and go the wrong direction and it dosen't kill the board, motor, or fuses, it's just like the little pink rabbit, it keeps going and going and----------------

With my vast experences not only building, but repairing cues for over 30 years, I have designed and built the ultimate machine for all of us. I know what it takes. Work with ease, confidence, gain respect from customers, and make good money in the process.

BLUDWORTH CUE MACHINERY, designed and built by a CUEMAKER for all CUEMAKERS.............

Thanks for the good questions, sir.

Blud, you are making it very easy for anyone to make pool cues.
Good thing or bad thing, who knows. Glad to see you getting out there and doing it.

Perhaps it is time for me to give it a go.

weight

Michael Webb said:
Do you have any idea yet, what the weight of the lathe will be.
Mike, it should fall around 175 to 200 lbs. A little heavier than the one your using now, but more stable, and a lot closer tolorances.

Can you taper and cut points with this machine Blud?
I'm assuming it does like the Porper lathe except with a lined-up tailstock ( the new Porpers are kaka  and are no longer favored by many ).
Kinda sukks for me since I already bought a portable lathe and taper machine.
