New Brunswick Barbox coming

I can't find the video now, but in one of the videos about the new Gold Crown 7, the Brunswick rep said this year they are focusing on the commercial market. They are also working on a new commercial BarBox table, set to be released later in the year.

There were zero other details about it.

I wonder if it will have the same basic design as the new GC7?

I wonder if it is Brunswick or the current manufacturer. I don’t particularly like the Globals. To be fair I haven’t played on a really well maintained one. Two had horror show balls. That said, I still don’t particularly like them.
 
No idea. I hope it's a scaled down GC7, with the same build features, so it looks and plays the same. I'd love to have new rooms filled with GC7 9's and 7' :)
 
Didn’t they release a new barbox a couple years ago?

I’d like a 7’ GC7 for what it’s worth as I can’t fit a 9 footer.
 
they have a new bar box but it is not considered a GC 7 platform, that will only be available in 8' or 9' see another thread from this years EXPO w/ Brunswick's video.

the Bar box I saw being used for Ultimate pool does have some GC styling though.
 
That barbox is the GoldCrownCoin, GCc for short. It’s been out about 5 years now. The table of this thread is a brand new one in development now.

I like Read Deal Full Size Table, 4.5, X 9.0. Pretty much play One Pocket, and cant do own a Coin OP Bar Table. Have play on many Valley Bar Boxes in 9 Ball Tournments. Honestly ev3n if you won some money subtract all the Quarter in the Bar Boxes. Only one who won much we BAR OWNER. v Real Deal Big Table Rule in my World, like Gold Crowns, Diamonds suck. JMHO

Good post. I tend to prefer the GCs over Diamonds. Problem is that Diamonds are now the standard table. Most of my 7’ pool is on Diamonds by the hour so the quarter issue isn’t there.
 
I think the interview was the one where the head of RD was being congratulated for becoming the head of the BCA. It was Sam Diepp doing the interview if memory serves.
