Does anyone know of a Cue Builder that was located permanently or temporarily in New Brunswick, NJ.

Talking to some family and they recalled buying a cue from someone in New Brunswick but could remember who was building them. They thought it was a well known builder but couldn't remember their name.

Thanks.

Quite possible Mike Fedunka (Rahway) or Karl Mayer... In the 80's there was a gentleman named Ed Silva. He made a dozen cues or so..

I'm pretty sure it was Karl Mayer, Joe.

KM was a disciple of Paradise Cues, IIRC. New Brunswick had a large Hungarian population, back then, and I believe KM was Hungarian. I think Mayer eventually moved to Plainfield/So. Plainfield. He was living there in teh 90's. I'd be surprised if Mayer is still with us; he would be very old by now.

Mayer's cues had the classic Paradise/Palmer cue look, although, not as fancy. KM was still making a few cues in teh 1990's, out of his house.
