Remember my January 2008 post on the 2x4 Predator Air Case?
Guess what, friends! The Predator Air Case in now a reality!

The 2nd generation Predator case is called the Predator Blak case!
And it comes in either leather or vinyl!

Did a brief post on what i could gather, friends.

The case looks nice. I like that the cat is not so visible in bright yellow.

Well

a shot of the inside would be nice, tubes or cloth?

Is that pull tab thing at the top a small pocket or not?

The pockets at the bottom look cool, but having the jump butt on top or underneath your other stuff where it would rub against it is not cool.

And how much do they go for?
 
very nice case... but i think they should have a 3x5 or 3x6 case.. but this one is way more nicer than the first one
 
Looks very nice, too bad they don't make it in a (3x6) if they did I would get one for sure...

Do you know how much a Justis Pro-Lite 2x4 case weighs just for a comparison? 6.35 lbs is heavy!

I think Jack was saying the Prolite is right at 4lbs even.... with pockets.
 
IMO, I also think that this one is nicer than the first one. :)

Keib, it really wouldn't make sense for you to buy this case. It's taller and weighs more than you do.
 
I was hoping I would like it. The pics make it look like cuetec went to bed with a vintacore. (hard plastic molded looking inside and a stainless steel or tin band around the top and bottom.

Hey Justin's Friend.... if that's the case, then you're only 2-3" taller than the case?

Case

$275 for vinyl is high, $395 for leather. I don't like it that much. For $400, I would rather have a Justis or Murnak case.
 
to each his own i guess, but I'm not sure why someone with Murnak/Justis money would spend it on a chinese mass manufactured product

Not as nice as the 1st generation case, IMHO. I don't particularly like the steel bands, and I think it's an oversight not having a smaller top pocket. I also prefer the zipper vs the snap for the lid. I think they would have been better served keeping the original case, so that folks could have a choice of cases.
