New Case Teaser

since you wont be selling the first two because they arent good enough you can just give them to me and ill find a use for them lol!! classic cases sir! i would love to have one but i just bought a new cue!!
 
Handles for LEFT hand carry.....

I'm glad to see these are meant to be carried in the left hand, puches out, zippers up. Good job!!! Flowers may be the only other guy who got this right.

When opening doors and shaking hands with opponent the case will be in our left hand. Men don't carry things in the left hand!!! Why can't case makers get this through their heads.:rolleyes:


I'd also love to see the top attached, so it doesn't snap on both sides. Other wise is dangles by a snap, and stresses that side of the leather strapping. There's an arrangement I've seen with one side snapping and the other permanently attached to a d-ring.


Third, some sort of re-inforcement in the bottom. My old flowers starts to sag there. I think they need some stiffening in the bottom 6" if you stand the case up on end.

Overall looks better than most out there. :thumbup:

Do these have towel rings? Just a suggestion since you asked for input

PS - I am absolutely elated over my case purchase and cannot wait to receive it

In fact I am going to announce a "brand naming" contest on the main forum here pretty soon but not for this line of cases.

How about Garden Cases in honor of Jay Flowers? Flowers West??? :D Flower Power Cases? :-)

How about I have each of your names carved into the case you buy with the number that it came off the line? That way at least there is some history there for you future collectors. I think I will do that and if I haven't picked a name by then I will just call them the "Nameless" cases.

i like the idea of numbering them as they come off the line, but i don't like the owner's name being marked so much. i'd prefer simply "jb cases # 5" to id it as one of yours rather than my own name. or how about "prototype # 3" for the collectors of the future.

Ok. But just to make sure that EVERYONE understands - these are NOT JB Cases. I don't want to see them advertised as such later on. These are production cases that I am making in the Jiasen cue case factory. You all remember Jiasen? They are the ones who brought us these cases (of which we still have several for sale HINT HINT) http://www.jbcases.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=2602

Please don't get these and try to flip them as JB Cases - they aren't. They are Jay Flowers replica/tribute cases using some basic Flowers style designs.

Hopefully I will have come up with a brand name shortly and that is what will go on the cases. I really don't relish the thought of sending out "unknown" cases.

So BY DEFAULT the case will just be NUMBERED. If anyone would like their name inscribed alongside that number please inform me that this is what you want and it will be done. Not the same as your name across the back :-)
