New cloth

The few times I used the superweave, I did inch and 3/4 on 8 footers. Sides pull easy, but it tightens up nice when you do the ends.
Thanks Sheldon,
The owner also called the company they bought it from and was told it's a worsted speed cloth (hard wearing). Neither one of us got an email back from Strachan.
I'm feeling like it's pretty standard except for the pattern. I guess I'll find out and add some pictures and critique when I do it.

Strachan is owned by Simonis. Pretty sure all the Strachan worsteds are made by Simonis. I checked Strachan site and there is no Superweave listed but they do list a couple worsted pool cloths. Just a WAG but Superweave could be one of these blends just re-named for other markets.

Found out from the homeowner this cloth was bought 5 years ago in the UK. Strachan cloth with Artscape print, and yes this print has been discontinued. After working with it, I'm not a huge fan. Anyway, I got a surprise that I had to glue this down on 3/4-in slate, and had no slate backer to staple to. Also the table is a piece of crap, cheap Brunswick with pressboard rails. It came out pretty good for my second glue job.

Sure it isn't just a blanket used at an old The Who concert?? ;)

Superweave UPDATE: i msg'd Strachan and they said they haven't made this since covid. Whatever is in the supply-chain is what's left. It is a woolen blend, 75/25.
