This is a new Richard Black that I just picked up only hours ago. Give me your thoughts on the cue. Brazilian Rosewood, all white is Ivory. Tan Lizard wrap. Plays great. Feels great. Weight is 19.5 two 13mm shafts.

I love the look but I would go with a different wrap color. Otherwise it's a real beauty.

Personally I love the cue but I don't like the wrap. IMO the wraps are becoming to "fancy" and are taking away from all the fine workmanship done on the points, veneers and inlays. I like the traditional four points and think a textured leather wrap to match the rosewood (as close as possible) would be a better choice.

I absolutely disagree with the previous opinions. I really like the wrap on this cue. I love how it's not what's traditionally seen and it matches the forearm wood opposed to the butt and the points. Very nice looking cue.

Richard Black Cue

I'll throw a curve in, it would really look good with an Ivory Joint :)

Yea it would look good with this wrap or that joint????? It looks great as is! and you said it feels and plays great!.... But dont forget... Its all about looks! wow, I love the wrap, are black lizaed wraps actualy from black lizards?Or are the dyed black so they look right on pool cues? I never realy thought about it till right now. That wrap looks more like a lizard skin to me. and I realy have to say i like it.
the only way that cue could look better is if it was in my case! lol.

Very nice

My experience is when you get a Black that plays good, it plays very good. Some dont, and never do.

If you get a player its a dandy.

I as well think that the wrap is a bit much, other than that i think the cue has a nice classic look to it.
