Here is a new BreakRAK, I am getting ahead for the Christmas rush.

The BreakRAK is a great training aid. With an engineered shock absorbing cartridge, it provides REAL-LIFE break shot response of the cue ball. The BreakRAK II will assist you in developing a POWERFUL & STABLE opening break shot, through repetition. You can practice the Break Shot for Pocket Billiard games of 8-Ball, 10-Ball, 9-ball, 7-ball, 6-ball, 3-ball & Rotation. And you can do it quickly, because you won't be racking balls.

The BreakRAK is used by many Pool Schools, about 30 Professionals & 1500 plus amateurs. See www.breakrak.com

Merry Christmas

Simply one of the greatest pool inventions out there!! I have one and will admit that if you use this for any amount of time, it will definitely improve your game.

The only problem I have with it, it takes a toll of the table. I need to come up with some sort of breaking "pillow" to take the damage off the table.

Wow!

Hey Charley:
The Break Rak arrived last week and it's truly a great teaching tool. Brendan's been working with it for two 15 or 20 minute sessions per day and now he's breaking rocks like he's on a chain gang. He's using it to work on spotting the cue and the improvement is visible. We're using a break cloth under the one ball to avoid the wear and tear from the repetition. Thanks for all of your help!

Where is toll on the table? Please be specific. Depending on when you bought the BreakRAK, I've started sending Simonis Break Pads for the Kitchen area. Using the tape at the spot, as shown in the directions, will alleviate that problem too.

Glad you like the product & thanks for your testimony about the product working to assist the player in learning.

The toll is on the felt in the kitchen. After breaking for a little while, you can slightly smell a burn in the felt and the typical wear out white spots in the kitchen.

I haven't heard of these Simonis break pads, where can I get some?

i also have recommended the break rak in prior azb threads. It is imo one of the best pool training aids out there. Unfortunately, I bought the setup (rak and case) before you started including cloth for the kitchen and I pretty much gave my table's cloth a workout. Despite that I highly recommend it. Everyone who has tried mine says that its the nuts for practicing the most important shot in most pool games.

Questions

I have a couple of questions for this device.

1. What is the differences between the standard model and the deluxe model?

2. If I want to practice a break with high english so that the cue ball travels through the rack on the break shot. How can I do that with this device?

Look forward to the answers as this looks to be an interesting device.

Thanks

Kevin

Whoa! I've never seen something like that before, but like most players, I have always wondered about how to speed up break practice.

Cool!

The BreakRAK is offered in 2 different models.

The standard model is configured, to fit one size table of your choice
(7 or 8 or 9). The shipping box is 36 x 12 x 4. The cost is $209 plus
shipping-insurance

The Deluxe BreakRAK will fit all 3 size tables & comes in a nice molded
case. The shipping box is 48 x 12 x 4. The cost is $239 plus
shipping-insurance

You can practice that shot, if you do not hook up the BowSystem. But you will be required to reset the BreakRAK (much easier than racking balls).

There is also an 2nd Row 8-Ball configuration. Please see pictures.

Just use a 4x4 scrap piece of cloth from a table recovering job. If you don't have one, your local pool hall may.

I also worked my cloth over when I first got one. I now use a scrap of cloth under the CB and all is good.

Amazing product. It takes a wise man to engineer such simplicity.

The BreakRAK was introduced in 2002 at the BCA in Las Vegas.

The guarantee is this, if it doesn't work for you, send it home & your money will be refunded. NO ONE has ever sent one back.

Here is what Dr. Cue said about the BreakRAK...

"Finally, the "genius" of improving a player's Break Shot comes to life in this unique product. The BreakRAK reveals the subtle and sometimes major glitches in the most critical stroke in Pool. I firmly believe a few minutes spent with the BreakRAK, will elevate any person's Break Shot to another level and beyond. I highly recommend it as the "perfect" training tool for Break Shot practice, as it creates a "caddy" assistant. The BreakRAK is consistent in response and allows for adjustment in a fluent and rhythmic motion."

The BreakRAK can now be used for the 2nd Row Ball Break in 8-Ball

I sell 50 Deluxe Models, to every Standard Model. Players like having the flexibility. The $30 difference means nothing to most folks.

Christmas has been good this year.. I only have 6 BreakRAKs left...,next week will take of Christmas for me.

Good Luck & Merry Christmas to all.
