I would consider this a "flashy" cue. I am usually more drawn to conservative, traditional cues. But, I do like this "flashy" cue.

Just my opinion.

Very nice cue. The whole project must have been a good experience. Hope it hits good! What kind of wrap will you be putting on it? I think a solid ivory colored lizard wrap would be a nice contrast to make the wood really stand out.
