New Diveney shaft............

Last month I was at a tournament and got to see Jon Pinegar's Diveney cue and he was talking about the shaft's that Pat made and how good they hit. I noticed they were very dark and contacted Pat when I got back and had him make me one. It's the old growth slavage wood and he did a great job, the ring work on the original shaft is a little darker but it fits up great and lines up perfect when screwed together. These pictures are not the best because of the black background but you can see the difference in the wood.

love that dark wood

To me the dark wood is prettier than any white wood...........and for whatever the reasons , it just plays better.
