New Efren Cue?

Efren was shooting with two cues with points when he was here. One with an ss collar was an Annie O cue.
The one with ivory points and inlays and ebony handle is a fancy Judd.

Was wondering what's his main playing cue now. It used to be the JT1 and sometime last year was breaking with Bandido's ebony with amboyna handle cue. It was mentioned that he was breaking in that cue to be his main playing cue.

On Billiards Digest forum, Bill Porter initiated a thread entitled "Nice Shot of Efren at DCC," and he is so right! This is one FINE picture of Efren taken this week in Louisville, which has a great shot of his playing cue in the pic!

My JUDD cue with Ivory Points
That is a beautiful JUDD cue that Efren has. I own the first ivory pointed cue Judd Fuller ever constructed. It was made to my design in 1992 when Judd still resided in Riverside CA. I will try to include some pictures if I can figure out how to post them here

When I asked Efren what he was playing with a couple of days ago, he said, "Judd." But he went on to say, "but this shaft is from Houston."hadjcues said:
So, I don't know if he was also using another cue or if he just had a special shaft that he was trying out, but he explicitly said, "Judd." That being said, during one of his bank matches, he kept on switching shafts and cues leading me to believe that he is trying out a special shaft (from Houston?) and that he's not yet quite comfortable with it. Also, the wrap on his shooting cue isn't to his like either as he's put tape of some kind (masking tape?) over the wrap.

Efren also has a Tiger X shaft. I don't know if he's trying that yet.

That is a nice looking cue. It is not the one that he used, when he was playing banks on Saturday. He had a maple cue with floating points, maybe the one I saw was the AnnieO.
