New England 9-Ball Series announces 50 stop tour for 2013-2014 season.

Very Well Said!

Dude. You are a clown. I ran tours for a couple of years and walked away from them because of guys like you. *****, whine and complain. What do you mean he "stone cold robs them"? Do you work for free? Why should he? Do you know how free enterprise works or does your Mummy and Daddy still give you money every week. Where do you think the money comes from for him to pay the end of the year payouts? You think the Pool Unicorn just drops a bag of cash off for pool players?

I have played in several events and you know something.....you are not missed a bit.

Bob Campbell

Nicely done Bob. Some people just don't get it...hope you can make it on Sunday...;)

Bob did u attend an play in the season finale at snookers? Here r 2 things that crossed the line with 64 players be was supposed to add $4k. Well he had 64 players them asked one of his friends to drop out of the tourney so he would only have to have $3150 that's $850 missing there and that was heard from myself an another well known open player who played. Second he says he takes $10 a player for admin fees an there are $10 in green fees which he says Steve goulding the owner of snookers took. Well come to find out mr. Goulding DOES NOT take green fees so that's another $630 from the pot. So so that's $1430 missing you can say that's fair an being an honest director. That's y I will not support his tour or play in anymore events. So if u know how to add between all the fees green fees, added money an admin fees he made $2110 for 2 days work lmfao

regardless wether or not greens fees we collected by snookers that does not mean you are entitled to them

do us all a favor and tell us who you are or shut the f*** up

So that's makes him entitled to them? Green fees go to the the hosting place. I know for a fact that mr. Goulding doesn't take green fees from this tour so the players have a better payout if he knew Marc was pocketing the fees he would of charged the green fees!!

Oh Rackem...so here is how it works. Doesn't matter if you like him or his business practices one bit. Mark owns a company called New England 9 Ball. He runs tournaments and receives compensation for his efforts. Now, here is the important part...he decides what he is going to make on his product. What he charges, what he receives, or dealings between him and another business owner are frankly, none of your business. It is a business transaction. So, even if he did tell player 64 to drop out so there would just be 63, it doesn't matter from a business perspective. He said 64 gets "X", and there were 63 so they don't receive "x". Now ethically, is that the right way to do something? And this is the part that you will like.... so, as a consumer, you have a right to choose to buy the product or not. There is no requirement that you go to the tournament. You have chosen to take this path and it is fine. You do what you want.

Son, in the "Book of Life" it is all explained in Chapter One, right on Line One. And it totally sums it up. "Life is difficult. It is not meant to be fair."

Next time you go by the candy store ask the person behind the counter how much they paid for the candy. Tell them that if they only paid 10 cents, why are they charging a dollar and they are "stone cold stealing" from you. Just let me know how that works out for you.

And here is another idea. You can start your own tour and charge and do whatever you want! Nothing improves the business climate for the consumer is a little competition.

Bob <---uses his real name because if you have a valid opinion you should not be afraid to publicly express it.

So it's ok that he tells everyone that he paid snookers the green fees when he really didnt? I've run numerous tournaments in Connecticut an been to numerous tournaments where green Fees where not collected an everytime that money was added to the payouts. But yes you are right Marc can do what he wants but it doesn't make it right for the players that play in his tour! An u think it's right for him not to ask someone to play so he doesn't have to add the full money? Now that's a pretty classless move IMO

Do you believe the car dealer when he says you can lease a 2013 auto for $99 a month? Do you believe the bank when they say they have a totally free checking account? I once worked for a company that said they had a "state of the art computer system". They didn't even have a computer! Here is another life lesson....what is the only objective of any business? This is THE only one. No other answer is correct....except: to make money. There are those that do it honestly and ethically and there are those that don't. There are most that operate in between. But Northeast 9 Ball is no different than any other company. He is there to make money.

As a consumer you have done what you feel is the right thing. To stay away. That is your choice. But I really think you are looking at this thing all wrong. You don't enter a pool tournament to make money. There is no money to be made in pool. Stop worrying about how much money this guy gets or that guy gets. If you are worrying about what the prize fund is in a pool tournament then I was right, you either still live with your Mom and Dad, or you need to get a real job.

Play pool to challenge yourself. To make friends. Have a good time.

I'll say it AGAIN !
