New Forum Section Idea

Hey Mike and everyone, I would really like to see a section dedicated to discussion and reviews of Accustats videos and all other pool videos/dvds in circulation. There could also be a sub-section for selling pool tapes and only pool tapes. I think this is a great idea and I would love to discuss the hundreds of tapes I've watched, and ask about the ones that I want to see. Anyone else like this?
 
Maybe call it "Billiard Media" and include press releases and such, maybe TV schedules and show discussions???

That could be the main section, and the accustats/pool videos could be a subsection of that, and then a wanted/forsale of pool vids could be another subsection.

Sounds like a good idea to me,lets see what Mike's gonna say about this..
 
A review section would be nice, but IIRC, Mike has requested that folks not sell videos on here. Maybe somebody could post the thread?
 
I thought he just wanted people not to sell boot-legged copies of videos...original videos are okay I do believe.

Mike can you correct me on this?

I have no problem with people selling used tapes or DVDs. It is bootleg copies that I don't want sold.

I like the idea of the new section. Heck, it might even drive a little more traffic to the marketplace to purchase videos.

Thanks for the clarification on selling (used vs. bootleg).
 
i think the web site needs a minor restructuring. there are already forums for discussing cue, yet people still post on the main board issues that would have been addressed better at "ask the cuemaker" or "for sale". i guess what i'm saying is, people will still post about accustats on the main forum
