priceing

$18 is a lot to pay for a tip for us cue repair guys and cue builders. Most of us get Kamui's for much less than that. Do you have any special prices for cue repair and cue builders guys.

Don't mind me asking, how did you cut down the G2? Just glue it to the shaft, put it on the lathe and slice the top part off?

Hi all,

All payments received over the weekend for G2's will be shipped out in the morning, thanks!

Here's a pic of a G2 soft on an 11.75mm OB. Tip was cut down as requested (and advised)...

Hi,
Yes. Glue to to the ferrule as you normally would. I use my lathes cut off tool to remove a few layers, as per the Players requests. Usually around 2 or 3 layers on most layered tips, or, again, however however player requests it to be done.. Some players want as much tip there as possible, in which case I do not cut any off and simply shape it to their desired radius (dime, nickel, or even flatter for some players break tips...)..

Prewar hero - sorry I didn't answer your question here in the public post, but yes, I have all the hardnesses in stock..

JTscuerepair - yes, I do offer special pricing for volume purchases.. PM me if interested, and how many...

I received mine the other day. The tip was installed this morning. I can only speak for first day impressions.

G2 Hard - Based on first day experience, it is my current favorite tip. It grips like no other tip I have used. Because it grips so well, it does not feel quite as hard as other hard tips. But I don't care. It maintains the accuracy of a good hard tip. It feels amazing. My impressions may change over time. But typically, I like tips better as they age. I see no reason to anticipate different behavior with the G2H. The G2H replaces a Moori III Q on my favorite shaft. It will see a lot of play time. Assuming it ages well, I will be buying more.

Highly recommended (based on Day 1 experience). Rain-Man has been great to work with.

After 5 months of play, the G2H has hardened into a true Hard tip. I did not notice when it seemed to feel a bit harder. I started out looking for a replacement for my Moori III Quick and I would say I have found one. I had a second tip installed on another shaft and I like it just as much. Neither tip has shown tendency to mushroom. Great tip. Highly recommended.

Rain-Man also continues to be great to work with.

Greg
