Hello I am new to this....Aliitle bit of what I have. My husband passed and he bought me Mcdermott Chop Skateboard Cue for my birthday. I've had it since it's been made and it's still sealed and it's original wrapper. I don't know much about it but he told me to hang on to it that maybe it might be worth something one day so I'm just putting it out there see if there is any interest in it. Thank you all for your time and God bless. I will post pictures if there's anyone interested in it which I would have done it now but I am not home but I will do it when I get home again thank you so much

You're in a good place here.
The cues has some collectable value, especially if brand new with packaging.

First off, I am so sorry for your loss. Secondly, welcome to the site. Thirdly, I know that cue well. McDermott is my cue sponsor. Last time I saw you can't touch one of those cues for less than $1200-$1400.

thank you very much... i have not been able to find any to compare what the price should be... new or used.. and yes mine has never been out of the package

someone told me they had one and was not new and they sold it for 2,220... so im at a lost let me get some pictures going

2,200? I guess that's possible. Sales over the last couple years look like they are running in the $1,200 to $1,700 range. They were under $500 new.

Your new condition should give strong value. Whether or not you have the laminated shaft will matter too. The laminated shaft brings more value.

I got it just like this have no idea what shaft it originally came with... do you?
 
and yes they said 2 years ago that was the cost but they have gone up... if i need more pictures to show it better ... let me know and again how do i know what shaft it is since its the one that it came with... still sealed also was told you cant fine any that is sealed anymore they are all used.. I sure with my husband was still around :(...

Well, you're just asking about it, so yes, it's fine here.

There is a For Sale forum here. As a new member people will be wary of scams. And you have to post a price. You can accept offers. Pretty much the same anywhere.

As was stated earlier you should check the Facebook Group.

I'm the same way I don't know if there are any scammers in here either so it's just I guess to trust I put the pictures up like I said I'm trying to do all this on my own I'm not sure how all this works and I'm trying to find the price to put down on it so I'm hoping I don't get scammed either so I understand it totally if there's anything else you can help me out with I would surely appreciate it like I said this is all new to me
 
But I thank you so much on your input so if there's anything else that I need to do that's why I was asking about prices here I didn't know how to find out I've looked for a long time about what people are asking for this c u e and I can't find anybody who are selling it and especially new and still sealed so I'm trying to do my best here
