ok, guys, as promised here are pics of the new Jacoby Custom i just received today. so far it plays real nice, hits pretty sweet, i think i hit the nail on the head with the specs for this cue.
18.25 oz
12.75 mm
12"-14" taper
St. Steel Joint
Everest Tip
Medium Handle
White w/Black Specs Wrap

ran a few racks with it tonight, also messed up a few. deflects a little more than the Lucasi/Predator Shaft combo, but not as much as the Nova Custom and Cuetec that i have. love the look of it too. its a winner!

thanks for all of you posters advice and help about cues. talk about a good day, not only do i get my new Jacoby, but also my new Billiards Digest, AND my tax refund check! now if i would have just gotten something else tonight that would have really made it a memorable day!

regards,
DCP

Good luck with your new cue, DCP. Now if you can get this excited about your practice...........

good looking cue, tastefully done, I'm not generally a fan of black and white cues, but that one IS a winner, you should be proud !

Very Nice DCP! I am waiting patiently on my new custom cue as well! :D

Nice cue. I dont know what it is about Jacoby cues but for some reason I never liked them. I dont know why. They look nice and Im sure they play jam up but for some reason I cant stand them

I feel the same way and I owned one a couple years ago. Really weird how you can like something and not like it at the same time. I thought I was the only one who felt this way.

DCP,
I hope it plays great for you and you get years of enjoyment out of it.
