I like the hit of a purpleheart forearm and bacote handle cue. This wood combination makes for a really sweet hit in my opinion. But sometimes these two woods don’t look good together. So I gave Jim Pierce a call and asked if he could make me a decent looking plane jane using purpleheart and bacote. He took the challenge and suceeded! Jim was very helpful and communicated with me frequently. After just a few weeks, my cue is on the way.
Here are the pics Jim sent me this morning. I am very pleased! I think Jim created a beautiful cue and I really like the bacote rings!
